Introduction

Participating in projects that reaches beyond the local context will always contribute to a deeper understanding of both others and yourself. It is through an enhanced ability to identify with others that solidarity is built and your identity becomes linked not only to your local context, but also to a broader one. Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps offer great possibilities for this and should be seen as the main tool for implementing European cooperation in the field of youth and youth work.
