Introduction

The needs and interests of young people as well as the composition of the group ‘young people’ is constantly changing. Economic factors as well as migration, new innovations and political trends are all affecting the living situation of young people. The effects that these changes have on the needs and interests of young people needs to be mapped and analysed if youth work is to meet them in the best possible way.
